Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Machine Learning Engineer in Durban to help us unlock the potential of AI. You will design and develop machine learning algorithms, work with large datasets, and contribute to the deployment of impactful AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine learning frameworks and libraries for internal use.
• Optimise existing models to increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Work closely with software development teams to integrate solutions.
• Continuously learn new technologies and apply them as necessary.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to come up with innovative AI solutions.
• Assist in training junior team members and interns.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in machine learning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Data Science
• PhD in related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning and AI solutions
