Job Description

As a Metal Inspector, you will play a crucial role in our quality assurance team. Your primary responsibility will be to examine metal products and raw materials, ensuring they meet stringent quality standards. You will conduct both visual and mechanical inspections, maintain detailed records, and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a solid understanding of various metal properties and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform mechanical tests on metal components to validate structural integrity.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control policies and procedures.
• Identify trends in quality issues and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical problems associated with product quality.
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing inspection results and quality assessments.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss quality challenges and strategies for improvement.
• Training and development of junior inspectors to ensure team competency.
• Implement best practices in the inspection process to enhance product quality.
• Ensure all inspections are conducted in accordance with ISO standards.

Requirements

Education

• Formal training or certification in quality control or inspection

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the metal manufacturing industry is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• ISO Quality Management Systems

Languages

• English: Fluent
