Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Equipment Operator and Tender to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of chemical processing equipment, ensuring that all safety and environmental protocols are adhered to while effectively managing chemical processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor chemical processes and equipment performance.
• Conduct safety checks and quality assurance measures on operations.
• Assist in the development of safety procedures and protocols.
• Keep equipment and workspace clean and organized.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hazardous materials handling.
• Document all processes accurately and comprehensively.
• Support environmental initiatives and sustainability practices.
• Attend regular training and professional development sessions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certifications in chemical engineering or environmental safety are advantageous.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in chemical equipment operations preferred.
