We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet required specifications and standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to bring designs to life.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical system design projects from conception to completion.
• Evaluate and select materials based on project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all designs.
• Actively seek opportunities for process improvements in design and manufacturing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
