Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mechanical design and a track record of successfully delivering engineering projects. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will take part in designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems while ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings.
• Evaluate materials and processes for project suitability.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements.
• Ensure all designs meet compliance and security standards.
• Collaborate with other engineers on multidisciplinary projects.
• Perform field surveys and product evaluations.
• Foster strong supplier relationships and assess new technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design
