Pharmacist

Job Description

Pharmacy Plus is looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. You will be tasked with managing medication therapies, educating patients about potential side effects, and working closely with doctors to ensure the best possible healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

• Implement patient medication therapy management strategies.
• Conduct medication reconciliation and follow-up.
• Educate healthcare staff about new drugs and treatment protocols.
• Participate in health fairs and community programs to promote health awareness.
• Manage adverse drug reaction reports and ensure quality patient care.
• Support inventory management and procurement of pharmaceutical supplies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
• Master's in Pharmacy Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Clinical Pharmacy Practice
• Regulatory Compliance

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Certified Clinical Pharmacist (CCP)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Familiarity with pharmacy software like PASTEL: Proficiency in managing pharmacy operations smoothly.
