Short-Term Substitute Teacher

Job Description

As a Short-Term Substitute Teacher, you will provide effective instruction to students in the absence of their regular teacher. Your ability to manage the classroom efficiently and follow lesson plans will contribute directly to a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach and manage assigned classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
• Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
• Grade student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate with parents and families as needed.
• Participate in any additional tasks assigned by the School Principal.
• Adapt to different classrooms and subject areas as required.
• Foster a supportive relationship with students, encouraging their individual growth.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Teaching certification or licensure preferred

Experience

• Experience working with diverse student populations.

Technical Skills

• Learning Management Systems (LMS)

• Problem Solving
