Job Description

We are seeking an Audiovisual Equipment Installer and Repairer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, maintenance, and repair services for a variety of audiovisual products, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct installations, maintenance, and repairs of audio-visual systems.
• Provide technical assistance to customers via phone, email, or in-person.
• Create and maintain documentation related to product installations and service.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve technical skills.
• Ensure compliance with safety and technical standards.
• Develop strong relationships with customers to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Electronics or a related field
• Advanced qualifications in audiovisual technology is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in installation and repair of audiovisual equipment

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of audiovisual technologies
• Installation skills for audiovisual systems

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Communication

Certifications

• Certified Audiovisual Technician (CAVT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Fluency in other South African languages: Being multilingual is an added advantage in customer interactions.
• Previous experience working in events or live shows: Experience in fieldwork, especially in live events is beneficial.
