Project Coordinator

Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled Project Coordinator in Durban who is passionate about project management. You will be responsible for assisting with project planning, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely delivery of project components. Your organisational skills and ability to work under pressure will be critical in ensuring project success, whilst liaising with clients and team members alike.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project timelines and task lists.
• Assist in resource allocation and management.
• Help implement project methodologies and best practices.
• Prepare project documentation and maintain comprehensive project files.
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and gather project requirements.
• Coordinate project reviews and ensure effective follow-up.
• Assist in budget monitoring and financial tracking.
• Support change management processes as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management or related field
• Certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) is advantageous

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or management

Technical Skills

• Project Management Software (e.g., MS Project, Asana)
• MS Office Suite

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Time Management

Advantageous

• Experience in Agile methodologies: Knowledge of Agile frameworks and practices for effective project execution.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial management: Understanding of project budgeting and cost control measures.
