Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee our supply chain operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, inventory management, and supplier relations, ensuring seamless processes and optimal efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design supply chain processes that improve efficiency and reduce delays.
• Evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Prepare reports on supply chain performance metrics for management review.
• Oversee the integration of new supply chain technologies and systems.
• Work with international suppliers to ensure compliance with regulations and customs.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to align supply chain with organizational goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in supply chain or logistics roles

• ERP Systems

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with customs regulations: Understanding of international customs regulations governing import/export activities.
