Job Description

We are on the lookout for a meticulous Auditor to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. As an Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in conducting audits, ensuring compliance with regulations, and producing accurate financial reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, working to uphold our commitment to financial integrity.

Responsibilities

• Handle audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Review client financial records and assess controls.
• Compile and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies.
• Work closely with the management team to develop strategies.
• Prepare financial statements and ledgers as required.
• Ensure compliance with statutory guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• A Master's degree is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in auditing or related field preferred

Technical Skills

• Taxation Knowledge
• Forensic Auditing

• Leadership Skills

Certifications

• Registered Auditor (RA)
• ACCREDITATION by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with IFRS and GAAP standards: Knowledge of international financial reporting standards is a plus.
• Experience in a supervisory role: Previous experience in leading audit teams.
