Tax Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Tax Specialist to join our Pretoria office. In this role, you will provide tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to various clients. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of South African tax laws and regulations, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax strategies for clients.
• Assist with the filing of direct and indirect taxes.
• Prepare documentation for tax audits and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with financial advisors and external consultants.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and reports.
• Present tax-related findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Facilitate tax training sessions for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Master's degree in Taxation is highly advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in taxation or public accounting

• Tax Strategy Development
• Financial Analysis

• Analytical Skills
• Client Relations

Certifications

• Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
• Chartered Accountant (CA) is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
