Job Description

The Credit Authorizer will be instrumental in assessing and approving credit applications from clients, ensuring adherence to company policies and risk management standards. Ideal candidates will have proven analytical skills and experience in credit evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Authorize credit applications within prescribed limits.
• Assess the creditworthiness of potential borrowers effectively.
• Review credit applications for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide guidance to customers regarding credit matters.
• Manage credit risk and work towards minimizing losses.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery.
• Document all decisions made regarding credit applications.

• Ensure all actions are compliant with South African regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Credit Certification is highly advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in credit analysis or credit management.
