Warehouse Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and implementing best practices in inventory management. Your expertise will help drive efficiencies and improve workflow.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient processes.
• Supervise and participate in the warehouse activities of receiving, dispatching, and stocking.
• Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders for timely deliveries.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for warehouse activities.
• Ensure compliance with warehousing, handling, and shipping regulations.
• Lead regular staff training sessions to enhance team performance.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
• Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment consistent with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare and present reports on the warehouse's performance metrics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or operations

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Languages
