Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Warehouse Manager who can demonstrate strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of warehousing logistics. Your role will involve managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations and staff.
• Implement best practices in inventory management and control.
• Coordinate with suppliers and transportation companies.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Train, mentor, and provide guidance to warehouse staff.
• Analyze process workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
• Manage the hiring and disciplinary processes of warehouse staff.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in warehouse management

• Inventory Management Systems
• Forklift Operation

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
