Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal health and welfare standards for all livestock.
• Lead breeding initiatives and genetic improvement programs.
• Create tailored feeding regimes to enhance productivity.
• Assess and respond to animal health challenges.
• Train farm staff on effective animal husbandry practices.
• Keep detailed records on animal performance metrics.
• Work hand-in-hand with veterinary professionals for health care.
• Adhere to legal and ethical standards in animal husbandry.
• Perform regular evaluations of the farm’s animal environment.
• Integrate innovative practices for improved animal husbandry.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a related role.
