Job Description

In your new role as a Food Scientist in Johannesburg, you will develop and test food products, focusing on nutrition and safety. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll contribute to innovative processes and work on sustainable solutions that meet our consumer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product development projects from concept through commercialization.
  • Analyze test data and provide recommendations for product improvements.
  • Interact with suppliers to source quality ingredients.
  • Prepare reports on research findings and product testing results.
  • Conduct audits of production processes for compliance with food safety standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or related field
  • Master's degree in Food Science preferred
Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in food R&D

Languages
  • English: Fluent
