Electrical Technician

Job Description

Join our rapidly growing company as an Electrical Technician in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, ensuring that all electrical installations comply with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical installations as per project specifications.
• Perform regular testing and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Identify and resolve electrical faults in a timely manner.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
• Ensure all installations comply with electrical codes and standards.
• Assist with project planning and resource allocation.
• Train and mentor apprentice technicians.
• Document maintenance and repair work.
• Coordinate with suppliers for electrical materials.
• Participate in risk assessments and safety audits.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5 years or more in electrical installations and maintenance

Technical Skills

• Project Management
• AutoCAD

Certifications

• Electrical Engineering Technician Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Basic
