Join our Cape Town team as a Logistics Coordinator, where you will manage logistics workflows, optimize transportation routes, and interact with vendors and clients. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in ensuring smooth supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all logistics activities including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Work closely with vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure optimal service delivery.
• Implement strategies for efficient inventory control and stock management.
• Ensure cargo is properly packaged, labelled, and verified before shipment.
• Develop and maintain logistics procedures and policies.
• Conduct audits on shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support team members in resolving logistics issues and provide training as necessary.
• Prepare budgets and track expenditures related to logistics.
• Establish and maintain relationships with transport and shipping companies.
• Continuously assess logistics operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Advantageous

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS): Hands-on experience with WMS for tracking inventory and streamlining operations.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations: Familiarity with regulations affecting international shipments.
