Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Mental Health Counselor in Port Elizabeth to provide essential counseling services and support. Your expertise will empower clients to overcome their mental health challenges and improve their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct client assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Offer therapeutic support in various formats including one-on-one and group settings.
  • Document client progress accurately and pursue necessary follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize client care.
  • Plan and conduct educational workshops on mental health awareness.
  • Provide crisis management and support in urgent situations.
  • Engage actively in training and team meetings.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or counseling
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role
