Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician who will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications under the supervision of the pharmacist.
• Educate patients on medication management and adherence.
• Manage stock levels and place orders for pharmaceutical supplies.
• Adhere to pharmacy regulations and quality standards.
• Implement pharmacy policies and procedures effectively.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Provide exceptional customer service in the pharmacy.

Requirements

Education

• Matriculation certificate
• Certificate in Pharmacy Assistance (advantageous)

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting preferred

Technical Skills

• Pharmacy software proficiency
• Medication knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Communication skills

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
