We are seeking a qualified Mining Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our mining operations while contributing to innovative mining solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and implementation of new mining techniques.
• Conducting environmental impact assessments for proposed projects.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Reviewing and analyzing operational data to inform decision-making.
• Assisting in the procurement of equipment and materials for mining operations.
• Ensuring all operational activities are aligned with company goals and objectives.
• Providing technical support and expertise to project teams.
• Continuously improving mining processes and practices for efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Mining or Geotechnical Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the mining industry
