We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing projects aimed at mitigating environmental impacts and promoting sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental compliance projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
• Engage in research for sustainable technologies and practices.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on environmental policies.
• Assess environmental risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Participate in public consultations and stakeholder meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Master's degree in Environmental Management is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in environmental consulting or engineering

• GIS Software

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)

• English: Fluent
