Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to support our mental health initiatives in Durban. This role involves comprehensive assessments, personalized treatment plans, and therapeutic interventions for clients. You will play a key role in our efforts to enhance community mental health and well-being through evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise evidence-based practices to inform therapeutic interventions.
  • Engage in case management to support client treatment goals.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and coping strategies.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to program development.
  • Network with community organisations to enhance service delivery.
  • Document all interactions and treatment plans accurately.
  • Stay current with the latest research and developments in psychology.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary to clients in distress.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Specialization in a relevant area is a plus
Experience
  • 4+ years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting
