Dental Hygienist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Dental Hygienist to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing dental hygiene services, educating patients on oral health, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform scaling and polishing of teeth.
• Provide guidance on dietary habits for oral health.
• Engage with patients to build rapport and ease anxiety.
• Ensure all dental equipment is sanitized and maintained.
• Support the practice in achieving patient satisfaction targets.
• Stay updated with the latest dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Dental Hygiene or related field
• Bachelor's degree in dental science is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Radiology Certification
• Infection Control Procedures

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Dental Hygiene Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
