Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Mining Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of mining processes and will be instrumental in driving efficiency and safety practices. This role includes overseeing mining operations, conducting feasibility studies, and implementing sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement sustainable mining practices.
• Monitor and analyze production data for optimization.
• Participate in regulatory inspections and audits.
• Liaise with government and community stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
• Conduct training sessions on mining operations and safety.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Mining Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mining or engineering roles

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng)

Languages

• English: Fluent
