Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Environmental Consultant in Pietermaritzburg. You will conduct field surveys, prepare environmental reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement sustainable solutions that drive compliance and environmental protection.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate site-specific environmental conditions and impacts.
• Generate detailed reports for internal and client review.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Stay up to date with changes in environmental legislation.
• Participate in the development of grant proposals for environmental projects.
• Drive innovation in sustainability practices within client projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Policy or Management is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years in environmental consultancy or related roles
