Guard Supervisor

Job Description

The Guard Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the security team and ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures. This position involves the management of security operations to maintain a safe environment for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide security personnel to ensure proactive security measures.
• Perform patrols across premises, identifying potential security risks.
• Document and investigate incidents, ensuring thorough reporting.
• Conduct training sessions for new security staff on best practices.
• Maintain communication with the Security Operations Manager regarding team performance.
• Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Review and update security procedures to enhance safety measures.
• Respond swiftly to any security breaches or emergencies.
• Foster a positive work environment for the security staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall security strategy.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a security supervisory role.

Certifications

• Valid PSIRA Certificate
