Join our dynamic team as a Mining Engineer where you will be responsible for leading mining projects from inception through to execution. This includes designing mining methods, assessing environmental impacts, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of engineering studies and reports on resource extraction.
• Optimize production strategies to reduce costs and enhance profitability.
• Engage with community stakeholders regarding mining operations.
• Develop short and long-term plans for resource extraction.
• Analyze and interpret geological data to inform decisions.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability.
• Manage procurement and supply chain for mining supplies.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in mining safety.
• Facilitate training sessions on regulatory compliance.
• Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the mining sector
