Public Health Specialist

Job Description

We seek a Public Health Specialist who will contribute to our mission of improving community health. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in health promotion, community outreach, and health education. You'll work closely with local health departments and community organisations, making health resources accessible to various populations.

Responsibilities

• Assess community health needs and promote appropriate interventions.
• Create partnerships with local organizations for collaborative public health projects.
• Develop promotional content for public health education materials.
• Implement health promotion strategies and monitor their progress.
• Prepare reports on program outcomes for stakeholders.
• Engage in advocacy for public health policies that benefit community health.
• Train healthcare professionals on public health practices and programs.
• Evaluate community health initiatives through qualitative and quantitative assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Science or Health-related degree
• Master's degree in Public Health or related field is preferred

• 5+ years of experience in health program implementation
