Public Health Specialist

Job Description

We seek a Public Health Specialist who will contribute to our mission of improving community health. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in health promotion, community outreach, and health education. You'll work closely with local health departments and community organisations, making health resources accessible to various populations.

Responsibilities

• Design health education programs targeted toward specific community needs.
• Work with local health departments to strategize on public health initiatives.
• Conduct interviews and surveys to gather community health data.
• Facilitate training for community health workers and volunteers.
• Create awareness campaigns around pressing community health issues.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of health programs on the target population.
• Leverage digital platforms to disseminate health information effectively.
• Lead community meetings to discuss health trends and new initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Science or Health-related degree
• Master's degree in Public Health or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in health program implementation
