Rehabilitation Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Therapist in Port Elizabeth dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services. You will work closely with patients to assess their needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing their recovery and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement effective rehabilitation programs for patients based on thorough assessments.
• Instruct patients on exercises and techniques to facilitate recovery.
• Evaluate and record patient progress and modify treatment strategies as needed.
• Engage in one-on-one sessions to address specific patient challenges and goals.
• Maintain patient confidentiality while keeping accurate records.
• Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications that support recovery.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on the importance of self-care and adherence to treatment plans.
• Attend regular training sessions to improve skill sets and clinical knowledge.
• Contribute to case studies and research initiatives as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field
• Master's degree in Rehabilitation or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in rehabilitation therapies
