Public Health Specialist

Job Description

As a Public Health Specialist, you will be at the forefront of developing health programs that promote better health standards in communities. You will work closely with various stakeholders to implement public health initiatives, conduct health assessments, and provide education on health issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute public health campaigns across various communities.
• Work closely with health officials to assess public health needs.
• Gather and analyze health data to inform program decisions and strategies.
• Engage with stakeholders to foster collaboration in health initiatives.
• Provide recommendations to improve health services based on assessments.
• Educate community members on health programs and services available.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or equivalent is advantageous

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in a public health capacity

Certifications

• Certified Public Health Administrator (CPHA)
