As a Veterinary Surgeon at our established practice in Port Elizabeth, you will oversee surgical procedures, manage medical cases, and educate pet owners on maintaining their pets' health. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to exceptional veterinary care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and treatment of a variety of animal health issues.
• Surgical interventions, including sterilizations and corrective surgeries.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Educate pet owners about health, nutrition, and hygiene.
• Supervise the veterinary team and oversee their training.
• Participate in community outreach and educational programs.
• Manage emergency cases and on-call duties as needed.
• Continuously improve professional skills through training and workshops.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
• Registered with the Veterinary Council of South Africa

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting
