Job Description

We are seeking a qualified General Surgeon to join our team in Durban. This role requires excellent surgical skills, and the ability to perform a range of surgical procedures effectively. The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnostic procedures.
• Perform a variety of surgical interventions, including minimally invasive surgeries.
• Lead surgical teams and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Communicate effectively with patients and medical teams.
• Develop and implement patient care protocols.
• Manage surgical supplies and maintain a sterile environment.
• Participate in clinical research and trials as needed.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or recognized equivalent
• Specialization in General Surgery is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in surgical settings
