Job Description

The Welfare Investigator will conduct thorough investigations into reported cases of welfare fraud, ensuring adherence to regulations and policies. This role involves collaborating with law enforcement and support agencies to uphold social service integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive background checks and research.
  • Liaise with community organizations to address client needs.
  • Assist in developing policies to improve investigation processes.
  • Provide feedback for continuous improvement in procedures.
  • Conduct audits to ensure adherence to protocols.
  • Participate in strategy meetings with stakeholders for case alignment.
  • Document all communications with clients and external agencies.
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with investigations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in any related field
  • Master's degree in Social Work is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a relevant field, especially welfare investigations.
