Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Foundry Mold and Coremaker to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fabricating molds and cores for metal casting processes. This role will require precision, technical skill, and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all molds meet exact specifications.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed mold designs and specifications.
• Work with various casting materials and techniques.
• Perform routine maintenance on all mold-making equipment.
• Conduct quality checks on finished molds and cores.
• Assist in managing inventory of materials required for mold production.
• Participate in continuous improvement and training programs.

Requirements

Education

• Technical qualification in Foundry or Mold Making
• Advanced diploma is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in foundry work.

Technical Skills

• CNC Machining
• Quality Control

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Project Management Skills: Experience in managing projects within a manufacturing setting.
