Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in our team by assessing patients' needs and developing customized treatment plans. Your aim will be to help individuals improve their functional abilities and quality of life through therapeutic interventions. This position involves collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members to create holistic rehabilitation strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individual rehabilitation plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective therapy sessions.
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation of treatment and patient interactions.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices.
  • Advocate for patients' needs and rights within the healthcare system.
  • Deliver workshops and training for staff on therapeutic interventions.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred
  • Registration with HPCSA
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting is advantageous
