We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Technician to join our team in George. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical systems, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for engineering. You will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the repair and maintenance schedule of mechanical systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis for repeated mechanical failures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project completion.
• Contribute to the documentation of processes and procedures.
• Lead safety training sessions for new employees.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and projects.
• Recommend enhancements to improve system efficiency.
• Monitor and report on project timelines and milestones.
• Foster a safety-first mindset among team members.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
