As a Hardness Tester, you will be responsible for conducting hardness tests on various materials utilizing advanced industry-standard equipment. You will ensure that all testing adheres to quality benchmarks and specifications.
Responsibilities
Perform routine hardness testing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Document all test results and analyses in a clear and concise manner.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing insights from test findings.
Work closely with quality assurance and production teams to resolve issues.
Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of current testing methodologies.
Participate in safety training and adhere to company safety regulations.
Contribute to the establishment of testing protocols and quality benchmarks.
Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and initiating repairs.
Carry out statistical analysis on testing data to identify trends and variations.
Keep abreast of new technologies and methodologies in hardness testing.
Requirements
Education
Post-secondary education in Materials Science or related discipline
Additional certifications in quality control preferred
Experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
