Job Description

Join us as an Explosive Operator Supervisor, where you will lead the team in ensuring the efficient and safe production of explosives, while also implementing quality control processes and maintaining compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team to ensure adherence to safety procedures and practices.
  • Implement continuous improvements to the production process.
  • Evaluate and report on equipment effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Liaise with external vendors for parts and service requirements.
  • Prepare reports for management concerning production metrics and compliance.
  • Assist in the hiring and training of new operators as needed.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Ensure availability of raw materials and manage inventory levels.
  • Participate in regular safety briefings and training sessions.
  • Develop process improvement strategies to enhance productivity.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in Engineering or related field preferable
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with supervisory experience preferred.
