Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Systems Administrator to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring system stability and performance. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, while also providing support to various departments. This role demands a proactive approach to system management and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain servers and network infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support to team members and stakeholders.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
  • Implement security measures and ensure data integrity.
  • Perform system backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Keep software and systems up to date with the latest patches.
  • Document IT processes and user manuals.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Post-secondary qualifications related to Information Technology are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT administration or related fields
