Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychologist to join our dedicated team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of psychological principles and a commitment to delivering high-quality mental health care. You will work closely with clients to help them achieve their mental health goals and provide supportive therapeutic services.

Responsibilities

  • Administer psychological tests and interpret results effectively.
  • Guide clients through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with case managers to support client rehabilitation objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of internal policies regarding mental health practices.
  • Assess risk factors and implement safety plans where necessary.
  • Facilitate family therapy sessions when appropriate.
  • Deliver psychoeducation workshops to community members.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions as needed.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.
  • Foster a supportive and healing environment for clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate degree in Psychology
  • Specialization in clinical psychology preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in mental health therapy
