Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing and treating mental health disorders, and will be committed to helping individuals achieve their therapeutic goals. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose emotional and psychological conditions.
  • Lead therapy sessions focusing on cognitive-behavioral techniques.
  • Work closely with social workers and psychiatrists for integrated care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Document treatment plans and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Contribute to the development of mental health promotion strategies for the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Additional qualifications in Child Psychology or Family Therapy are an advantage
Experience
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar clinical role
