Job Description

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work collaboratively with clients to help them navigate their mental health journeys. This position involves case management, therapeutic intervention, and community outreach, aiming to foster a supportive environment for all clients.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
  • Assess client needs through interviews and assessments.
  • Support clients in developing coping mechanisms and life skills.
  • Document and review treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments.
  • Foster a supportive environment that encourages client participation.
  • Conduct outreach to local organizations for collaboration.
  • Evaluate risks and provide referrals when necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
  • Engage in professional development activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology or related field
  • Relevant psychological licensure is preferred.
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical counseling experience
