Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial systems and controls.
• Oversee daily financial operations and reporting.
• Ensure timely submission of tax returns and compliance with laws.
• Prepare detailed monthly financial reports for management.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
• Assist in strategic financial planning and risk management.
• Support the finance team in achieving departmental objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

Technical Skills

• Budget Management
• Audit Preparation

Certifications

• CPA certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Advanced Excel Skills: Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and pivot tables.
• Knowledge of Financial Regulations: Up-to-date knowledge of South African financial regulations and best practices.
