We are looking for an experienced Insurance Underwriter to manage the assessment, pricing, and selection of insurance risks. Your expertise will be critical in making informed decisions to provide our clients with comprehensive coverage tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities

• Make informed decisions on policy renewals and adjustments.
• Engage in risk management strategies to minimize exposure.
• Support the claims department as needed during the claims process.
• Offer excellent customer service to clients throughout the underwriting process.
• Develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Report on performance metrics and underwriting effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Risk Management

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry with underwriting experience preferred

Certifications

• CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor)
• API (Associate in Personal Insurance)
