We are currently seeking a motivated Mining Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kimberley. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing mining operations, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing production processes. You will play a crucial role in resource planning and the implementation of sustainable mining practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead mining projects from conception to completion.
• Identify new mineral resources and assess their viability.
• Work closely with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Utilize data analysis in decision-making for mining operations.
• Develop strategies for sustainable mining practices.
• Foster a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting for projects.
• Present findings to management and recommend improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering or related field
• Master's degree will be an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mining or geological engineering

Technical Skills

• Mining Simulation Software

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
