Job Description

The Bank Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and preparing detailed financial reports. This role requires a strong attention to detail, robust analytical skills, and proficiency in financial management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the bank's financial accounting and reporting functions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting frameworks and regulations.
• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasting.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Provide financial analysis and support to business leaders.
• Participate in the annual audit process.
• Train and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Professional certification (e.g. CA, CIMA, or ACCA)

Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience in a banking institution
