We are on the lookout for a talented Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern engineering methods and practices, as well as excellent project management skills. You will be involved in exciting and challenging projects that will have a real impact on the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead design meetings and present project plans to stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are completed within budget and schedule.
• Facilitate communication between project teams and clients.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, preferably in South Africa

• Civil 3D
• MS Project
• Geotechnical Investigation

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
