Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Radial Drill Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating the radial drill press, performing maintenance, and ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient operation of the radial drill press by monitoring performance metrics.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments on the drill press as necessary.
• Follow strict protocols for handling materials and operating machinery.
• Interpret product specifications and adjust machine settings accordingly.
• Maintain inventory of tools and equipment associated with the drill press.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical diploma or certificate in mechanical engineering or relevant field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience with radial drill and CNC machines

Technical Skills

• CNC machine operation
• Welding and fabrication

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• Basic Welding Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
